Ento '19

22 Aug 2019

Ento '19 'Vectors of Diseases' was held on the 20 - 22 August 2019 at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), London. Convened by Prof Mary Cameron and Prof James Logan, the conference explored important challenges related to the control of vector-borne diseases, with plenary sessions themed around: evaluation, innovation and implementation. Over 150 delegates attended, with 65 talks, 11 turbo talks, 4 workshop sessions and 25 posters presented across the week. During the conference, Global Vector Hub's Partnerships Manager Dr Frederik Seelig chaired a workshop session on "What works for networks", alongside our Network Manager Dr Emma Howson and representatives from AntiVec and APMEN. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing your thoughts on what you want from networks and how you think they should be sustained.
