Vector Borne Diseases - Online Sessions in November

03 Aug 2020

This meeting will be the fifth we have held on this topic, with previous meetings in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together members of the major UK research groups who have an interest in vectors or vector-borne diseases which could be a threat to the UK. From the presentations at previous meeting the UK appears to have a strong and growing cadre of researchers on vector-borne diseases, which has encouraged us to hold a further meeting on this topic. For this year we are hoping to have good representation from the human, animal, and plant VBD research communities.  We believe there will be considerable added value in bringing these three communities together.

Due to the current situation with COVID19, we have decided to use Online Sessions this year, as an alternative to our usual two-day meeting. These sessions will be across November and will be free of charge to attend. If you are interested in attending any of our VBD sessions, please follow the link below to enter your interest.
