ECE 2018

The 11th European Congress of Entomology was held on the 2-6 July 2018 in the historic city of Naples, Italy. Almost 1000 delegates attended, from 55 countries, with a total of 460 talks and 560 posters presented across the week. Gnatwork Director, Dr Simon Carpenter, and Network Manager, Dr Emma Howson, attended the conference to present the Gnatwork to the ECE community. There were a number of interesting presentations throughout the week, including posters from Gnatwork members Dr Jess Stokes and Dr Marion England on Culicoides biting midges in the UK.
